Auberge du Lac Morency in St-Hippolyte is a peaceful site nestled deep in the Laurentians, just 50 minutes North of Montreal. Built in 1934 and recently renovated, this authentically rustic Auberge is the heart of a brilliant international resort center.

The 10 rooms that originally made-up the Main Lodge, have been replaced with a cozy conference center that can accommodate up to 40 people.

In the 1990’s, 14 rooms were added to the 10 original and since 2001, 24 more luxurious rooms have been built. In all, 40 rooms are surrounded by 86 condominiums and put to use by an appreciative international clientele.

The Auberge du Lac Morency is proud to continue the preservation of 67 years of heritage, but can also boast modern equipment and facilities such an indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and workout room.

In 2004, a health center was added to the site for our guests’ convenience, to enjoy among other things, a choice of tantalizing treatments offered by qualified massage therapists… Rain, Hot Stone or Swedish massages are just some of the special pampering services available.

The dining room offers a spectacular view of Lake Morency. The quality of the food is remarkable. The service is courteous and professional. The Auberge is also home to an exceptional wine cellar and educated sommeliers, who share their passion with patrons by helping them chose from an impressive selection of 250 bottles.

The site is equally a haven for many outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, ice skating, cross-country skiing or sledding in winter as well as tennis, swimming and several water sports in summer are just a few examples of the numerous activities to be enjoyed at the Auberge.

Furthermore, nature lovers can explore the hiking trails that channel throughout the neighboring mountain and will discover many lovely panoramic views of the local landscapes.
